2019 Keynote and Featured Speakers: Pastor Rob Dyer and Evan Krauss
Pastor Rob Dyer - Keynote Message Reverend Rob Dyer is Senior Pastor and Head of Staff at First United Presbyterian Church of Belleville, IL and Vice Chair of Protestant Memorial Center, Inc. (PMMCI) Board of Directors. Born and raised in Belleville, Rob graduated from Belleville West High School and went on to receive degrees in electrical engineering from Princeton University and Purdue University. After a career in computers and project management, Rob left engineering to pursue his lifelong passion for ministry in 2002. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA. From July 2005 until November 2012, he served as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Vernon, IL. Rob has a particular interest in linking the needs of the community with the passions of its Christian servants. As a public speaker (www.robdyerspeaker.com), Rob enjoys speaking to various organizations and churches looking to transform lives. Rob’s wife, Dr. Sarah Dyer, oversees a clinical psychology practice in the area. They have four children. Rob enjoys time with family, playing basketball/softball, coaching youth sports, reading, playing guitar/piano and dabbling with technology/computers. |

Evan Krauss - Collective Impact in St. Clair County Evan M. Krauss currently serves with United Way of Greater St. Louis as the Director of East Side Aligned, a community-owned collective impact process underway in East St. Louis to align policy, practice and investment across sectors to improve outcomes for young people. Prior to this role, he served as United Way’s Director of Faith Community Mobilization, responsible for strengthening program and service delivery systems of faith-based organizations, and as a manager in United Way’s Volunteer Center. Evan has worked professionally within city government, public education, and various anti-oppression organizations as well as is a member of Urban League Young Professionals of Metropolitan St. Louis. He received a Master’s of Social Work from Washington University and undergraduate degrees in Social Work, Urban Affairs, and Business Administration from Saint Louis University.
